Te Waihanga i te Kaupapa

Kaupapa Māori is the foundation of  Māori culture and is derived from a Māori World View.

Growing from within the Kaupapa are our Tikanga.
The Tikanga are the policies, practices and organisational structures of the Foundation that are aligned and  consistent with the Foundation Kaupapa and will benefit Māori,  Indigenous and  South Pacific people who consider Āotearoa their home.

To achieve this Vision, the INA HIV/AIDS Foundation’s existence will be based on Kaupapa Māori
the foundation principles of the  Māori and Indigenous World and
the bedrock from which we frame the objectives of the organisation.

The INA HIV/AIDS Foundation will demonstrate Tikanga, consistent with Kaupapa Māori.

The Māori World View is described through pūrākau, karakia, mōteatea,

whakataukī, whakapapa and many other puna kōrero.
